Help & guides
How routing, fees, order states and wallets work on Sidra Bridge, plus what to do when a transfer does not behave as expected.
Routing engines
Every trade is quoted in parallel by the settlement layer and the aggregator. Auto route ranks candidates on output, ETA and fees using your weights; you can pin any route manually and the panel explains why a route was chosen.
Fees and rates
The quote card breaks out protocol, gas and venue fees, the effective rate and the worst-case output after slippage. Market rate refreshes every 20 seconds; fixed rate freezes the quoted amount for two minutes.
Order lifecycle
Orders move through approve, submit, source confirmation, settlement and delivery. The tracker restores after a reload; cancel and refund entry points appear on the order page when the engine exposes them.
Wallets
EVM wallets are discovered automatically, and Solana and Tron use their native adapters. Balances are read directly from public RPC endpoints with automatic failover when one endpoint is unreachable.
Safety checks
Before signing, the panel validates balance and gas headroom, recipient format for the destination network, price drift against the shown quote and the exact spender that receives your token allowance.
Something went wrong
Open the order in History for the failure reason and a retry entry point that refills the original parameters. Settings has a health panel, coverage audit and a downloadable diagnostics report to attach when asking for help.
Frequently asked
Why is my route unavailable?
The pair may not be routable on either engine, or the aggregator may not return a signable payload for that virtual machine. Auto route falls back to the next executable candidate and the reason is written to the execution log.
How long does a transfer take?
Most EVM to EVM transfers settle in one to three minutes. The ETA on the quote is derived from source confirmations plus the engine's historical settlement time.
Can I send to an address I do not control?
Yes. Enable 'Trade and send to another address' on the trade panel, enter a recipient valid for the destination network, and optionally save it to the address book.
What happens to a failed order?
Funds either stay on the source chain because nothing was signed, or the engine issues a refund. Refunded and failed orders show a retry entry point in History.
